Reasons why People fails Job interviews

There are few growing and established companies offering few jobs. However, there are thousands of graduates in search of jobs year in and year out. This has made interviews to be very competitive. Only people who distinguish themselves secure employment.
There are reasons why many applicants are disqualified before and after interviews.They are
1. Poor CV format.
Many candidates do not get shortlisted because their CV cannot create positive image to their prospective employers
2. Lack of technical skills.
Many employers look for ready made employee. They do not have the patience to deploy time and resources in training anyone. You may not be considered if you are not skilled in the use of the computer, and driving to mention but few.
3.Poor outlook
Imagine appearing at the interview venue in wrinkled suit and unkept hair, or not smartly and neatly dressed. You do not stand a chance. You will be seen as unorganized.
4.Poor body language
Consider someone who enters interview room with his nose in the air or looking dull, unsmiling face or body language. You have created bad first impression.
5.Lateness.
Coming too late or missing an interview out-rightly may be disastrous. You may not be reconsidered for another interview.
6. Mental Laziness
Some people do not take interviews seriously thinking it is a piece of cake. They do not update their knowledge thereby putting their mental and intellectual capabilities to question. Many do not bother to know anything about the company they are applying to. A lot more get disqualified due to their inability to organize their thoughts following questions asked from their CV.
You may not do well if you don't prepare well for your interview.
